Welcome to LC - IMPACT V2.0

LC-IMPACT v2.0 contains an updated set of impact models and characterization factors for the Area of Protection “ecosystem quality”. The updated version provides spatially explicit characterization factors for those impact categories where this is relevant and it consistently includes the “global extinction probability” (Verones et al. 2022) factors to account for global species loss. The metric for the endpoint-based impacts is still PDF. All data is available on the webpage and Zenodo (link).
