LCIA is a very dynamic field, with many developments and updates ongoing. Therefore, methods need to be periodically (or, if possible, continuously) updated. Starting with the third phase of GLAM, a significant step forward has been made in development. At the same time, ambitions existed in the Horizon Europe project BAMBOO in developing improved models for LCIA regarding ecosystem quality. These projects therefore kickstarted the development of LC-IMPACT V2, which draws on results from GLAM and BAMBOO, but also other projects. What is different than in GLAM is the country selection, the availability of CFs also for Exiobase regions, additional impact categories and a more consistent implementation of the GEP.
